People in this generation just think that cars are just to get you from point A to point B. From moms driving their kids to and from school to young college students who just got their first car to drive home instead of having to call their parents. It maybe what they think but for most car enthusiast, cars are more than just simply going from point A to point B. Sure some people just use it to get to and from somewhere. But here are some examples of how cars changed people’s life. First example are car journalists such as Doug DeMuro, Parker Nirenstein, Mat Watson, and many more. These people review cars that they could get their hands on or just what they’ve heard about. They post their reviews on the internet and from that they have accumulated millions of followers from their social media from reviewing cars they borrowed or own themselves. Well you may think its that easy just to review cars then get millions of followers from it. But it’s not, these car journalists had to build up their following from scratch. Like one of the people I mentioned Doug DeMuro, started working in an office job working 8 hours a day. Then one day he got tired of working on a desk all day so he decided to quit his job. At the time he didn’t know what he was going to do after he had quit his job, all he did was just writing articles for this website called AutoTrader. But little did he know it was going to be his future job. After a while he managed to build up a following from posting funny articles about car shows, car facts,etc. And to this day he’s still posting videos and articles with more variety of cars with his funny humor.

Another example of cars changing someone’s live is Niki Lauda. Niki Lauda is an Austrian Formula One race car driver who won three F1 world championships in 1975, 1977 and in 1984. He loved racing to the point that to this day he is still considered to be one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time most known to have a great duel with another F1 race car driver James Hunt. And despite of him crashing at the 1976 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring and nearly died after his Ferrari burst into flames he still managed to be a succesful aviation entrepreneur finding and running 3 airlines.

Other examples may include the Fast and Furious movie franchise which is known for it’s car thrilling movies and despite the movie losing one of it’s beloved actors Paul Walker in 2013 in a coincidently car crash the movie franchise sill lived on to make 8 movies. Another examples include Spike Feresten’s hit TV series called “Car Matchmaker”where he would show people cars and/or motorbikes they were looking for base on their budget and other specific details. There are also other hit TV series like Jay Leno’s garage, The Car Chasers, Counting Cars and many more. And I’m pretty sure there’s more.

So,I hope I convinced you reader that cars are not just to go from point A to point B. There are bunch of examples like the ones I just mentioned about how cars could and have changed people’s lives. So, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post and I’ll see you next time in my next post.
